10 Days Itinerary: Golden Triangle & Ganges Tour
Delhi – Samode – Jaipur – Agra – Khajuraho – Varanasi – Delhi
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
A warm welcome by our representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: In Delhi
After breakfast at hotel, full day city tour visiting Qutab Minar, Humanyu's Tomb & India Gate (War memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple a Modern Hindu Temple. Drive past President's house, Parliament house and Secretariat building. Also visit Raj Ghat and Shanti vana the Cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red fort (Red fort is closed on every Monday) and Chandni Chowk.
Day 03: Delhi – Samode (200kms)
After breakfast at hotel, depart by surface for Samode, on arrival check in at your pre-booked hotel. Afternoon is free at Samode village, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: In Jaipur (40kms)
After breakfast at hotel, depart by surface for Jaipur. On arrival check in at your pre-booked hotel.
Afternoon proceed for city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory, drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds and through the Rose-pink residential and Business areas of Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur – Agra (237Kms)
After breakfast at hotel, start with excursion to Amber fort, the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on Elephant Back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.
Late morning depart by surface for Agra en-route visit Fatehpur sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, also visit Panch mahal and other Palaces.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: In Agra
After breakfast at hotel, sightseeing tour visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen Mumtaz. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the halls of private and public audience and other palaces. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday), also visit Itma-ud-Ullha.
